OWNER/DESIGNER

Ryan attended Southeastern School of Design at Arizona State University and Oklahoma State University. After a brief apprenticeship at an architectural firm in Norman, Oklahoma, Ryan founded CHD in Oklahoma City in 2001. In the ensuing years he’s overseen thousands of projects including single-family homes, apartment complexes, office park developments, and various commercial projects. Under his leadership CHD has won over 20 awards for design excellence.

Ryan has extensive experience with both modern design and development within historical neighborhoods. He’s traveled widely in both the United States and Europe, and it’s a point of pride for him to bring new and innovative design ideas to Oklahoma.

Ryan currently resides in Edmond with his wife and three children, where he’s active in his church and a genuine friend to many.

DESIGNER

The son of a design engineer, Jeff started drawing his own floor plans at age 12. After attending Washington University School of Architecture in his hometown of St. Louis, he established a career as a creative designer in the broadcasting industry, creating award-winning branding campaigns, art direction, motion design and production, and whatever architectural design projects he could get his hands on such as set design and retail display.

Having spent much of his free time sketching floor plans and learning new 3D designing software, in 2012 Jeff joined the Creative Home Designs crew in order to follow his deep innate passion and talent for design. Since then, he has been instrumental in CHD becoming an award-winning, dynamic, and influential design group.

DESIGNER/NORMAN BRANCH MANAGER

Born in Oklahoma City, Nathan was largely raised in Omaha, Nebraska where he was educated in CAD Drafting and engineering. He has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, from his first job out of high school for a high-end residential construction company, to his work as a fire sprinkler system designer for various commercial and industrial projects. In 2012 he switched back to the residential construction industry at a small design firm in Norman, Oklahoma before joining the CHD design team.

Fluent in several design programs and 3D modeling, Nathan has designed hundreds of homes in the Oklahoma City metro and beyond. He has a passion for studying historical architecture with a desire to marry classic forms to modern living needs.

Nathan currently resides in Norman, OK with his wife and young son, where he enjoys rock climbing, making music with friends, and taking long walks through historical neighborhoods.

OFFICE MANAGER

Starting as a teenager working in his parent’s residential remodeling company, Ben has over 20 years of experience in customer service, project management, and sales outreach. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Ben relocated to Oklahoma City in 2013, where he joined Ryan and the CHD team.

Ben handles the day-to-day affairs that keep the CHD office running smooth. He’s often the first and last point of contact with our clients, and makes it a priority to ensure their dream home becomes a reality. Ben currently resides in Oklahoma City where he’s raising his three children.

Sarah grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's in Interior Design, Magna Cum Laude in May 2020.

Sarah worked previously as a kitchen/ bath designer and then as an architecture supervisor for a production home builder.

Sarah has had a passion for design and space planning from a young age and always knew residential home design would be her dream job.

Sarah now lives in the OKC area. She enjoys traveling with her boyfriend and Australian shepherd in her free time.
